Karma Yoga Opportunities at The Life Centre
1) Assisting in Kids Classes
We have recently opened a brand new Loft Studio and are running a full timetable of dedicated kids yoga and creative activities. We have a small number of assisting places available. The assistant role is a supportive one to the teacher - you will be responsible for helping to set up the studio before and after class (tables/ chairs/ mats etc), attending to the needs of the children (aprons on etc), and being on hand to help with teacher with anything they need.
The Autumn Term runs from 8th September until 12th December 2008. Please see the kids activities section for the attached timetable for all the class times. There is only capacity for 1 assistant in each class. We are also running an Autumn Halloween Camp (Monday 27th - Friday 31st October 2008), and there may be some opportunities to assist also.
2) Helping Out in the Office
Do you have office skills - word processing/ leaflet design/ data inputting? Could you spare half a day or more to come and help out in our office in Portobello Road? We would love some help in the office from a super organised and efficient yogi/ni.
Your time will be valued and in return for you help and assistance, we will be offering free classes to you here at The Life Centre. What better way to nurture your practice with London's finest yoga teachers!
