The five elements (or tattwas) of earth, water, fire, air and space have been seen by yogis for centuries as essential components of the make-up of all material things. Later, the tantric yogis taught us how to harness the individual energies of the elements to achieve specific effects in our practice.
Come and explore how, through a mixture of asana, pranayama and guided meditation. Freedom from old age and death is not guaranteed, but your approach to yoga practice might be transformed!
The day will be split into two sessions with a half hour break in between.
A firm believer that yoga is important, but doesn’t have to be too serious,
Graham Burns combines a light-hearted
teaching style with a deep knowledge of many of the more subtle aspects of the yoga tradition.
Yoga is way more than just a set of physical postures, and Graham’s
teaching integrates many ancient yogic techniques which enable us to access and work with the deeper energies of both body and mind.
