But do you really know what mindfulness is? It is awakening to your true nature as consciousness.
And why is this so important? Because it means you can live a life permanently free from anxiety, depression and fear.
During the workshop, we will discuss the nature of awareness, how we might become conscious of our capacity to be aware and how breathwork and the observer state when practiced can transform our life experiences. Angus will guide you to reliably access that deep, imperturbable state of calm that lies within you.
This workshop will give you the map and the experience you need to discover the power of mindfulness. You will learn the key skills and insights from ‘The Awaken Programme’ - a course that has been taught to over 12,000 students - giving you real-world, practical techniques for overcoming stress, panic and burnout.
No previous experience is needed - everybody is welcome.
Angus Ford-Robertson is a global leader in the field of human evolution and spiritual development. He is profoundly driven by the belief that everyone has the capacity to live a life free from mental and emotional suffering; that we can all move from one state of consciousness to another, from pain to joy, from suffering to peace, through the journey of Awakening.
For over 20 years, Angus has practiced in the field of mindfulness and embodied wellbeing, teaching spiritual truths in a very engaging and accessible way. Although he draws on his many therapeutic trainings, he is at heart a gatekeeper of humanity’s greatest open secret; that we can awaken to our true Self through awareness. This, he believes, is the next step in human evolution.
Angus’ personal awakening journey began in his late 20’s. After working for almost a decade at a top magazine in London, he was burnt out, miserable and lost. He walked away from his job, his home and his relationship with no plan.
It was then that he came into contact with his two primary teachers Eckhart Tolle (Power of Now) and Ajahn Sumedho (Abbott of Amaravati Buddhist Monastery) and his life was never the same again.
In 1999, he began teaching yoga and meditation in UK prisons and went on to establish Battersea Yoga, one of London’s most renowned studios.
Angus now dedicates his life to the teaching and embodying of awareness. As well as his weekly podcast, “Awaken” he is a recognised speaker, a humanitarian visionary and upcoming author of two books; Nothing Will Satisfy You and the Book of Mirrors.
