Restorative Classes

Restorative classes relax and relieve tension, stress and joints for mind and body wellness.
Gentle Yoga
Gentle Yoga - classes described as 'Yoga' will also generally be based around physical postures, but in these classes postures are likely to be held longer and may not be placed together in breath linked sequences. Classes may include more detailed information about certain postures and are likely to be slower in pace than most Vinyasa Flow classes. These classes may also devote more time to pranayama, meditation, and relaxation. Each teacher brings their own unique mix of styles and influences: refer to teachers' biographies for more detailed insight.

Flow and Restore
This class combines active postures & yoga flow with restorative yoga, creating an energizing and nourishing balance for body, heart & mind. The dynamic and fluid practices will heat the body and build strength, endurance and flexibility. The quiet, restorative postures will help relax the muscles, tissues, organs and nervous system...encouraging a release of deeply held tension while replenishing energy.

Yin Yoga
The perfect complement to the more dynamic, 'yang' practice of vinyasa. Yin Yoga postures are all practiced seated on the floor. Yin relates to the connective tissues and energetic pathways of the body. Expect space, quiet and long holds (around 3 minutes) that allow the postures to deeply settle into the many layers of you and stretch the muscle fascia.
