Book WorkshopWe have lost our ways of feeling and releasing emotions, through many years ( generations) of repressing, shaming or numbing. This workshop holds the space for a deep healing journey through exploring, feeling and releasing these emotions that have been repressed, shamed or ignored.
You will learn:
- Education on the biology of the mind/ body connection
- A series of somatic practices including movement, mindfulness and journaling
- Deep immersive breathwork journey (participants will be invited to breathe lying down using the conscious connected breathing technique)
- Sharing (optional)
For this workshop Sophie will be assisted by Lana Power.
Precautions and contraindication for conscious connected breathing practice
Conscious connected breathing although very safe it is not advised for persons with the following conditions:
- epilepsy
- cardiovascular diseases
- uncontrolled high blood pressure
- history of aneurysms
- detached retina
- glaucoma
- seizures, TIA or other neurological conditions
This list is not exhaustive so please consult your healthcare professional if in doubt.

About Sophie:
Over the past 20 years Sophie has been studying, developing and refining practices that help people heal and navigate life in a more joyful and meaningful way. She completed her yoga training in 2016 and developed the YOGIST corporate method in the UK, visiting office buildings, open spaces and conference rooms to advocate the benefits of yoga and mindfulness to stressed office workers.
More recently she's been focusing her practice and teaching on breathwork after completing her facilitation training with Alchemy of Breath.
About Lana:
Lana is a conscious connected breathwork facilitator and neuroscientist researching altered states of consciousness and breathwork for trauma and emotional transformation. Her practice is oriented around the idea the body and consciousness are connected and that incorporating the breath and body into strategies for wellbeing and consciousness exploration
