Book WorkshopCome experiment with your body's very own secret weapon for self-regulation and consciousness expansion, your breath. The breath is the only aspect of your autonomic nervous system under our conscious control and is a powerful tool for shifting your emotional and perceptual experience.
Your nervous system is constantly oscillating between activation and regulation in response to your internal and external experience. When our internal processes are disrupted by stress, heavy emotions, or overwhelm, we can get stuck and lose our organic flow of expansion and contraction.
In this Conscious Connected Breathwork workshop, we will play with bringing more flow into this process: more breath and more movement to trigger the bodies intelligent system for returning to regulation. You will receive an embodied education on how the breath interacts with the brain and body, and a 60 minute guided and embodied breathwork practice.
The intention of the session is to give you the chance to observe your very own body’s unique response and build a literacy for communicating with your own nervous system and conscious experience.
Lana Power is a neuroscientist, educator, researcher, and breathwork facilitator. Her mission is making neuroscience relevant to the human experience and guiding science-based and evolutionary breathwork sessions for deeper embodiment and connection to the nervous system.
